Year training 2025 - 2026

Regenerative Touch & Embodiment

Welcome to a living inquiry into body intelligence
a shared eight-month journey of exploration

Year Training Regenerative Touch & Embodiment
Through simple yet highly effective touch techniques, you’ll discover how to experience connection with your embodied self, leaving you with  skills and confidence that you can integrate into everyday life.

Many people experience emotional numbness, disconnection or a lack of fulfilment.
They feel cut off from their bodies, carry tension, experience noise in relationships, missing a safe space to enter into deep, genuine contact — with themselves and one another.

What does your body need to feel heard, understood and alive?
You will learn how your body speaks its own language of attunement — unique for every person, every body.

An invitation into feeling, depth, and true meeting.

Regenerative Bodywork, what is it?
This approach helps both giver and receiver enter a regenerative state. Regenerative literally means becoming anew — in mutual touch with the source of connection, vitality and wellbeing.
The techniques and principles support you in finding the natural language of your body and its “sweet spot” of attunement. Ease is key here.

A core part of the approach is a living inquiry through the wondrous connective tissues (fascia) of your body, which offer access to your sense of self-perception, inner spaces, and what wishes to emerge.
For many, fascia knowledge is new. We connect this theory directly with hands-on experiences, so you can feel why it’s relevant in finding an tailored approach — unique for every body and every interaction.

Who It’s For
Regenerative Touch & Embodiment is especially suited for pairs who already know each other — friends, couples, family members, or practice partners who wish to connect and deepen through touch and body intelligence. It’s also ideal for (expecting) parents who want to create a shared space for replenishment and support healthy touch with their children.
You can use this training as a springboard to bring more meaningful touch into daily life.
Knowing each other already makes safety of the group and the quality of exchange high.
If you wish to join as an individual, we look together for a suitable partner to practice with between training days. Participants are also welcome to meet and practice with others in the group.

“Rarely have I experienced a training where something so complex is offered with such simplicity, power, and immediate embodiment.”
— Remi-Armand Collaris

Training Structure
  • Training days: a balance of theory and hands-on practice
  • Catering: coffee, tea, snacks, and a lunch of soup with (gluten-free) bread
  • Individual session: one private session with Maria, that you can plan when you like
  • Peer practice: between training days you practice with your partner (or others if desired
  • Practice assignment: give at least eight 1.5-hour sessions to at least three different people and write a short report (a massage table is helpful)
  • Guidance: during the training you can book two 30-minute check-ins with Maria and submit written questions that she integrates into the training
  • Self-study: you’ll receive a reader and a list of suggested literature and videos; sometimes you’ll be asked to read or watch material in advance
  • Practical use: by the end, you’ll be able to give a 1–2-hour session. You can use Regenerative Touch in your own circle, and as continuing education for other bodywork forms, or as a foundation for deeper professional development.  (This year training is primarily designed for personal and relational use — to enrich your life with fulfilling, restorative touch.  Learning the techniques for professional clinical use goes one step further ( a separate training is offered for people who want to use this professionally) ; this training offers the basis for an attuned, preventive, integrative approach to structural bodywork.

Fees for the Year Training
€998,- (excl. VAT) for eight training days, including one individual session.
Payment in installments is possible.

Topics throughout the training
Regenerative Touch
We begin by exploring the five principles of Regenerative Touch — the foundation of this way of working with the body.
From these principles we dive into the integral anatomy of the fascial network and how everything in the body interrelates.
We study the role of fascia in body awareness and practice palpation techniques to sense and move through various tissue layers.
Through partner exercises, we learn to read the structure and responsiveness of the tissue and to feel what the body is communicating.
An essential part is freeing the midline: by activating back muscles and the nerve roots around the body’s core, we restore natural flow and centering.

The Craniosacral System & the Nervous System in Relation to Fascia
We explore the subtle world of the craniosacral system and how it interacts with the nervous system.
Through hands-on practices such as still-point induction, we learn to listen to the rhythms and expressions of vitality.
We recognize restriction patterns and understand how they affect free flow.
We address the main gateways into the parasympathetic nervous system and experience how we can invite the body to open up rather than 'make' it to open up.

Communication & Integration
We deepen the link between language, your frame of reference, and body intelligence.
We look at how attachment  shapes the connection to our bodies, and how to work in a trauma-sensitive way.
We learn to notice subtle shifts — small changes in energy, tension, or relaxation — and how these influence body perception.
We also practice recognizing signals such as discharge or unwinding and learn how to attune to the right level of pressure, timing of intervention, or rest and listening.

Holding Space from Wellbeing
A key aspect of this work is the capacity to provide a safe, grounded space for another person — and to understand what this requires of ourselves.
We discuss ethics, boundaries, projection, transference and counter-transference, and how these dynamics can appear in touch and bodywork.
We explore how to hold space with ease — without effort, overload, or control — guided by principles of wellbeing.

Regenerative Embodiment
In Regenerative Touch & Embodiment, we approach the body as a gift.
We deepen into the felt sense of safety through both self-regulation, and co-regulation — foundations of embodied presence. Not only through touch but also through breath work, movement, and other forms of accessing body intelligence as a resource.
We invite ourselves to align with impulses, resonance and synchronicity as natural principles of flourishing throughout our shared journey.
