about me
I love everything that brings about intimacy with life, oneself.
I feel most alive when I feel that kind of openness in myself that is on the verge of pleasantly 'emotional'; that being touched by the vibe of things, meetings, things working out well. To feel what's 'new' gently bursting through. I believe that I create my own reality & that life is meant to be an Incredible Gift. Listening to what my body likes, is key! Only a full yes is a Yes! When I (dare to) allow it in, it is (usually) beyond my wildest expectations. Synchronicities indicate that I am in the right flow. |

In my ideal world massage would be as normal as eating food.
A communication that we can all share, daily. Just like words. I am in awe by the 'anatomy of connections' in human bodies. I like the complexity, the energetic interface between our perceptions and how this affects mind, body & vitality. Touch suits who I am and my self expression. I've been giving massages since age 23, but focussed more on it in the last 5 years. With the recent study and approach of Core Fascial Release I experience a real shift for the better. I am very 'turned on' by the results. |

Touch is always about listening, about receiving, about 'not doing'. It means tuning to what occurs in the moment. There is no standard recipe, no repetition. When this is succesfully done, it brings out the most authentic and delicious parts of ourselves.
I feel that the most interesting part of my life is yet to come, but so far this is what I've done in the obvious sense:
In the Netherlands I was working as a Waldorf school teacher for 3 years. I also worked as a cook in 2 lunchrooms, and 3 years parttime as a social worker in handicapt care.
In Crete, where I live for 5 years now, so far I've combined massage work, stone & renovation work, guiding hiking weeks in the Cretan nature, being moderately active in the music scene there, by playing in an ensemble and solo here and there, and from time to time I make and sell my art (see pictures above).
In the background I always observe and studied principles that induce quality of life, vitality, and laws of creation. It is in the invisible interface between the inner space and outer space that life happens!
My biggest intention in life is to offer a contribution to beauty in my small piece of the world in the form of social spaces & spaces that are sustainably built, forming an example and learning atelier of a life style in harmony with ourselves, earth and endless possibilities.
